Don’t Look For Me Here, Find Me Online
From the 11th of June for a week this is going to be my view. Apart from at night. Interviews, all my meetings, two conferences (so far), company presentations, social interactions ... all done from the very top of a tower block off Hackney Road, London. Yes, I’m going online for the sake of legacy media, which is faintly ironic.
From the 11th especially look for me in Second Life (Harald Finsbury’s the name), look me up on AIM / iChat at paulbennun @ mac .com or Skype (paulbennun) for a quick videochat, send me an email at somethinelse.com, track me down on Facebook ... the normal bloody litany ... just don’t knock on my door. I’ll even be sticking the obligatory perma-video feed up somewhere.
I’ll be keeping track of my no-doubt deteriorating mental health here. Check in on me, why not?
It’s the nerd version of Big Brother: you can’t vote me out, there’s only one of me, I won’t say anything racist and if I swear there’s no-one to bleep it out. Sadly for us all I’m living in the diary room.
